Project Overview
Carter Synergy delivered a refrigeration package consisting of coldstore insulated panels, refrigeration plant, leak detection, alarm and monitoring, Air Conditioning and ventilation and on-going service and maintenance.
Working closely with Total Produce’s Engineering Consultant, Air Consulting Global Ltd, we came up with the design to suit the Operational requirements of Total Produce for their wholesale and food-service departments within the new building.
The HFC Refrigeration plant supplied and installed is an externally housed 9 No. scroll compressor pack, manufactured by Hubbard, coupled to an adjacent remote air-cooled condenser manufactured by Kelvion. All Internal connecting Ceiling Mounted Evaporators have EC fans fitted and manufactured by Kelvion.
The Control and monitoring system is supplied by RDM and the Leak detection system was that supplied by our very own CPC UK.
The Coldroom insulated panels were supplied by Kingspan and installed by our sister company Carter Coldstore systems.
The Air conditioning equipment supplied and installed is manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric and provides the client with a long term warranty period.
Duration
The project was set a challenging deadline for completion which gave us a duration of circa 12 weeks from start on site to completion, which working closely with Total Produce’s Regional Facilities Manager and the main contractor (Geda Construction) made this possible with correct planning
and co-ordination with our Project Manager.
