Carter Synergy Scoop Refrigeration Supplier of the year award

September 2011

Carter Synergy attended The Co-operative Property Awards Charity Dinner, which was held at Lancashire County Cricket Ground, Manchester on the 21st September, which was an evening to remember, as Carter Synergy won the award for Refrigeration Supplier of the year.

Left to Right - Phil Hammond (Service Director), Vernon Kay (Family Fortunes presenter), Martin Langford (Sales & Marketing Director), Jim Haydock (The Co-operative Group - Service Account Manager), Rob Orbell (Managing Director), Charlotte Jackson (Sky Sports News presenter) and Scott Kavanagh (Business Development Manager)

The night was hosted by Vernon Kay (Family Fortunes presenter) and Charlotte Jackson (Sky Sports News presenter) who presented Synergy with the award.

The night was also attended by a host of sports personalities to aid the Charity event at which a grand total of £206,000 was raised for MENCAP Charity. The Star of the night was no more than John Bishop who managed to send the audience into fits of laughter.

Following the success in securing the refrigeration service and maintenance contract for the northern region in April 2010, Carter Synergy have worked tirelessly in what was an extremely short, not to mention intense mobilisation period to ensure the smoothest of transitions moving forward. Scott Kavanagh commented "Since then, we believe a consistent, reliable and collaborative approach combined with pro-active behaviours have been the cornerstone to a first-class service and maintenance delivery throughout the course of the year in such demanding circumstances.

This is truly fantastic news for Carter Synergy and a big thank you and congratulations must go out to our Co-operative Service Account Manager Jim Haydock and his team for all the hard work that has been put in over the last 12 months, to achieve this recognition for the company from the Co-operative Food Group."
